What are some good mac games?

Garrys mod is a great game, also Counter Strike: Source, GTA San Andreas (if you like those kind of free roam games), Also GTA Vice City, or GTA 3 which are all same concept as San Andreas. Portal 2 and Portal 1 are great games. I've heard DEFCON is a really good game, and I have purchased it but have yet to find time to play it. Oh and Cities in Motion is a really fun game to just relax and maybe play on the go. Sorry for the long reply, but I figured you wouldn't be upset with a lot of suggestions

I think that bioshock infinite should be out for mac too.

Too bad hardly any game can be run at retina resolutions

Borderlands, Bastion, Monaco, anything Valve, Torchlight, FTL, Bit.Trip, Bioshock... the store has a whole section devoted exclusively to OS X titles. Tell her to look there and go nuts. Since Steam came to OS X, game development has expanded dramatically. Also, don't overlook the Mac App Store; there are usually some good titles available on there, even if they don't always have the best prices.

Depends on your gaming style. Star conflict is fun and free. TF2 is pretty good, and you can really get involved in the market and creations for the characters there too.
