Dota 2 for mac install saying "NOT AVAILABLE FOR YOUR PLATFORM"

I know this was released yesterday, it was in the patch notes.

Is anyone else having this issue? I have it installed on my windows machine already. Could it be that you can only download it for one platform?

No, I have it installed on my rMBP and several windows machines. I only installed it about an hour ago though but honestly you aren't missing much. Runs like absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ right now. Better off running it in bootcamp because it is unplayable in OSX.

I still would like to get it installed. Did you have to do anything special or use a separate account?

Check you see if it's in you library under mac games, it should be there. I wouldn't mess with starting a new account.

Restarting my steam client fixed it. Strange behavior. Thanks for the replies.
