DotA 2 on Mac with nVidia 9400M

Hi Mac users

I'm on snow leopard and i'm gonna install Mountain Lion soon in order to play DotA2 asap.
But huge question ! My graphic card is a nVidia GeForce 9400M, and the requirements are the nVidia GeForce 320M, a better graphic card. Do you guys believe I can still run DotA2 even if my graphic card is below the requirements or is it imposs ?
I heard it seems to work on Bootcamp with windows with this graphic card, but what if I try this on my normal OS ? (Mountain Lion very soon, my only question is if the game will run with that old graphic card)

I wouldn't recommend running the OS X client with that GPU. The game is free though. So you can try it at your leisure.

Yes, but I will pay for upgrading to Mountain Lion and if it crashes because of the graphic card it will be too bad...
Do you believe the graphic card will really be unable to run the game even if the latest drivers of my graphic card are downloaded ? Maybe Valve will optimize the requirements in order to enable lower cards to run the game ?

I was able to run it smoothly on my Macbook Pro with similar GPU, on low settings. But it's stuck on loading screen then crashed. I''ve only been able to play tutorial game once, but then it crashed over and over again.

Oh that is too bad... Your other requirements are ok except the GPU ? Does it still crash today or did you fix it ? Are you still on low settings ?

Everything's fine.. all of the requirements are met. Still crashes until now. And yes I was on low settings.
