Keys, games, max payne and mac

Hey, guys! I`ve already bought max payne 3 for windows a year ago, so, I have a key fo this game (not steam). Now I`d like to play this on mac, so, do I have to buy the game again, or can I attach my win key (even not steam, rockstar game social club) to steam account in some way?

you could try activateing the key on steam and see if it works, or you could try contacting the devloper and see if they are willing to give you a new key, other then that you may just have to buy it again.

Probably will have to buy it again, if it wasn't purchased on Steam to begin with. I would wait a little bit. Apparently Rockstar opted for a "Cider" port, which twists and warps the code to function on a Mac. Sometimes it works well, but Max Payne 3 was the instance that they should have considered a port house. These are just from reviews I read on the Mac App Store. I'd wait till it's a patch or on-sale for a hard to resist price.
