Force Quit required for Steam for Mac

Every time I try to quit Steam lately, it hangs and I'm required to Force Quit. Is anyone else experiencing this?

Yeah, same here. Not that it's really bad or highly annoying but it's amusing that it hasn't been fixed.

same....very annoying. It will sit there sucking up resources if I forget to check it and force quit.

You guys are lucky, i cant even get past "Connecting Steam Account" after first install lol it just hangs my i7 at peak untill i tyrn off my pc, i can see Valve buyin me a new CPU soon lmfao...

yea steam support for mac has been pretty iffy

I can always exit out and quit but steam keeps running. If I really have to close it, I am forced to force quit it.

Same problem. Steam gets worse with every update. Why are Steam developers so incompetent?
