How do I know if a game will work on my Mac?
Is there some icon or something that I'm missing?...

When you look at a game it will show a little icon next to the name or the Add to Cart button that will show what platfoms its compatible on, wether its windows only, or also includes mac and linux

You can also look on the store front, as they feature games for "Windows PC', "MAC" and "LINUX".

Also, on the top of the steam store window, you will see tabs labeled "Featured items", "Games", "Software", etc. If you click on "Games" and scroll to the bottom you will find "Mac OS X". Clicking that will bring up ALL of the Mac compatible games. Many of the games are also compatible with Windows as well, and a few with LINUX. But anything that runs on OSX, will be listed here.

If you are asking in terms of supported hardware and performance, that will depend on what Mac system you are running and how demanding the games are. If you find a game you are interested in, at the bottom of it's Steam Store page you will see System Requirements listed for all supported operating systems.

If you can post the model of your system and what ever games you are interested in, we could probably help you get a good general sense of what will run.

With that graphics card, I doubt it will run well.

Recently I learned a trick by going to the Finder, in the top menu go to ' GO' and then 'connect to server' and copy and paste the below line:

steam://checksysreqs/346110

This last number points to ARK, you can find this unique ID when you open the game in the shop and copy the URL and paste it in a text editor or a browser. I'm not sure how trust worthy this is but so far it seems to work good.

I have Steam account on my iMac and also the WineBottler installed. Because I want to play some Windows games.
Question: Do I have to download other STEAM for Windows in my computer? Or having already Steam, how cna I play the Windows games?
