We need support for 2880x1800 resolution

Main windows not support retina, it's ok for the moment, but 2880x1800 resolution in the game, which can be set once, lost setting after quitting game. Using launch option to force setting resolution does not work. BTW, even I set 2880x1800 in the game option, the whole damn interface looks like ♥♥♥♥ except 3D module.
And, why Big Picture does not support 2880x1800, or even 16:10?

I tried 2880X1800 in TF2 as well but my macbook pro retina only got like 5 fps

Roughly 0.02% of users currently use that resolution. Just food for thought.

Steam is a client for PC/MAC, not for HDTVs. What's the point if it cannot support 16:10 which is generally used by many screen panels? Most weird thing is that those games support while client does not.

Maybe you missed that, but Big Picture is meant to be used on TVs. So, why support a resolution higher than anything that a current TV is able of?

fine, keep it that way. you know what is the real problem? the horrible picture of the game menu with 2880x1800 resolution and the bug that cannot save the resolution setting. no excuse, right?
