Max Payne 3 (Mac OS) installation.

hi everyone.
i have a Mac (iMac late 2012) new to PC gaming but have a decent collection of game. i normally dual boot to play the majoy AAA games but today saw that Max Payne 3 was on my Mac game list. i checked the store and sure enough it was saying it's for both OS.
long story short, has anyone been able to instal it?
on Windows 7 i had no problems, i mean the MASSIVE download and setup was a pain (restarting each time to get the graphics just right) but in all without too much worry.
on my computer i click to instal and looks like any other instal i am told by a pop up window i can view the progress in the downloads tab, all fine, except it doesn't download.
the game looks ready to play in my library and nothing seems to be downloading, given it is a 30GB plus game i doubt it is an instant download so am urious if it is possible to play at this moment in time.
i am sure many other users dual boot, either through other Macs or a hackintosh.
has anyone with the game been able to get it running?
and how, i mean i am only posting this because i've not seen any other posts.
Mac users with Max Payne 3.. can't be the ONLY person in the world can i? lol.

guess i was the only one who owns a Mac and a copy of Max Payne 3 =/
i came across a webpage which i think explains it.

seems the game isn't ready just yet so someone must of jumped the gun.
good news far as i am concerned. fantastic game! and on this dull OS this is truly welcomed.

I was also wondering about the error because I know sometimes they make a game "available" before actually giving access to all the people. I guess we'll have to wait

According to some reports scattered around the web, Rockstar is preparing Max Payne 3 for Mac, which will use SteamPlay (thus it’ll be cross-platform). Nothing official as of yet, but usually a SteamPlay version of a game, which you know it shouldn’t be on a Mac, showing up in your games list, tells one thing: they’re experimenting with it. They probably have it locket to a beta update channel, hence no files being downloaded for us, mere mortals.

As a side note: I have Max Payne 3 showing up on my games list as well with the exact same result: instant install (note the lack of download size info), no play.
