Good Mac Games on Steam?

I think I'm gonna buy CS GO since its been on sale for a while and I do like fps. I also love rts games, in particular SC2. I just went on break though and want a new game to play for a little bit. Any recommendations?

Edit: I am currently getting rid of my Mac to get a custom-made windows 8 computer. Sorry my fellow Maccites, but I can't take it anymore.

I would recommend Portal (1 or 2) or Garry's Mod. There are fun and you can play them over and over. I would suggest FTL but i have never played it so i don't know what its like :\

Forget Portal if you have a 2012 Mini.
Updated Steam, updated Sytem, updatet Portal. h2x or whatever its called, hangs. Got error message "Failed to create OpenGL Device" and an URL. This; "https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?p_faqid=772" and this enourmously helpful message: "If you use a Nvidia or any other type of video card, please visit the manufacturer's website for the latest video card drivers.
If the crash persists, set the following launch option:
Go to Steam's Library.
Right-click on the affected game.
Go to Properties > General > Set launch options...
Type in -dxlevel 81.
Click OK.

Which didn’t help one bit. Funny that, The 2012 Mini appears to be unable to play Portal and/or MineCraft. Weird.

I would say Borderlands 2 or tf2 are the best fps's out there. My one complaint about borderlands 2 is that if a new update comes out you are cut off from the pc gaming community and have few people to play with.

Some of Valve's game are great! All of them run very well on my iMac!

If you're into horror games, Lone Survivor and Amnesia. If you really love bloody games, go for Hotline Miami. If you love Star Wars and/or RPGs, get Knights of the Old Republic. Binding of Isaac if you're into roguelikes with exceedingly disturbing and dark overtones. Feel like doing parkour and watching a movie? Then Assassin's Creed is what you need. As far as FPS games go, Borderlands 2, Portal 1 and 2, L4D2, CS:GO, and Half Life 2 are all great.

Above all though, the one game you absolutely need to own in your library no matter what is Secret of the Magic Crystal. That ♥♥♥♥'s some crazy good fun.

So troll kid haha. I actually looked up that game. I'm thinking of getting the Valve Complete pack so i get l4d, HL, Portals, CS, Dota 2....I'm also picking up Gmod cause I love TTT. I put Tower Wars on my wishlist and Castle Crashers (played on xbox 360, not bad haha). But thanks all of you for your help! Just need Steam Summer Sale to come!
