M3 Pro Mac Performance?
So I picked up a 14 inch M3 Pro(12/18) Macbook Pro(1TB SSD, 18GB RAM) earlier this year as an upgrade for mainly school and work purposes. I do have a Windows Lenovo Legion 7i Pro RTX4090 for Desktop Replacement/Gaming purposes. However, sometimes if I'm traveling and don't want to carry both laptops, I'll just bring my Mac. For those of you with M3 Macbooks, how is performance these days for gaming? I would likely play Stellaris, EU4 or HOI4 on my Mac, but potentially other games too if it runs.

I have the M3 Pro Macbook Pro and the most demanding game I've played on it was Total War Warhammer 3 all settings max with 80+ mods, got around 30-40 fps. Pretty impressive considering how massive that game is. I think it's actually a good gaming pc.
I just picked up a M3 Pro Max 36gb. I have not hand any problems playing my games (mostly Indie Titles). I think the most demanding one I play is Dying Light. Runs just about as smooth as my Windum version on an alienware M15R6. The only problems I'm still having after all these years is controller support in a lot of my games with an Xbox controller. So I just play those in windows.

If you already bought the Mac why don't you just try some games? Steam Play lets you play all your Windows game with a Mac port free so you don't have to buy them again. According to Applegamingwiki the games you mention run well on Apple Silicon. You can also try Crossover's free trial for your Windows games on Mac. Check their compatibility database.
