Games for OS X Mavericks
Hey, guys!
I'm thinking about updating to Mavericks from ML, but I have a doubt: do the games run correctly on Mavericks or still having problems (like crashing)?
Mainly interested in DOTA 2, TF2 and CS: GO.

Thank you. :)

Thanks for your answers, guys. :D

I updated and tried DOTA 2 and CS: GO. They didn't crash, but had lag and I almost couldn't play very well. :S

My Mac is MBP 13" Early 2011 (HD 3000).

The other day i finished installing Team Fortress 2, and I launched it. The valve intro and source logo loaded perfectly, but while on the loading screen, the game freezes, and then instantly shuts down, leaving me back at my steam library. I've also noticed that this sort of the thing only happens to games powered by source, as i installed Dota 2 and it worked fine, but then i tried playing Half-Life 2: Deathmatch (a source game), and i had the same error. I have a Mid 2012 MacBook Air running mavericks. Can someone please help me? Thanks :)

Personally, all my games work for me in Maverick.

The games will work correctly, the new SO of Mac doesn't make incompatibilites like Mac OS X Leopard - Snow Leopard to OS X Lion:sword:

All my games run (about 16 of them) as well most of my PC games under parallels on Mavericks too.

Well, I tried playing on my MacBook Pro, which is running mavericks, it still does the same thing, crashes at the first loading screen.

What's your GPU?
How much RAM do you have?

I have HD 3000 and 8GB RAM and it runs without crashing.

I have HD 4000 and 4GB Ram, and my MacBook Pro has Nvidia Geforce GT 330M. Also note, that Team Fortress 2 has started working on my MacBook Pro now. I simply downloaded it again, and it doesnt crash anymore. Ill do the same with my Macbook Air and see what happens.

Air isnt't really meant for gaming. I've got a maxed out spec MBP so I've never had any issues with games on mavericks (except Assassin's creed Brotherhood...but thats a different issue)

Is my problem based on Mavericks, you think?
