I have a Mac Pro with 29 PC games and 18 Mac games (some of which are steamplay like the Witcher series). When I play the PC games, I reboot the Mac as a PC and run Win7. Never have any problems. I have over 260 hours in Skyrim and have loved every minute of it. We Mac users have to be willing to run our machines as a PC in order to get the games that are not or will not be ported to the Mac. That is why I have a Mac Pro.:cgrazz:
I had gotten burned out on gaming. Been out of it for 7 years. The Mac brought me back in... the graphics and res has improved so much. I can finally enjoy them agian. I just started gaming again with Steam last fall. So here's my list over the past couple months.

Imac quad core myself.
2560x1440 res = )
I don't like to reboot - so I run Mac OSX and WIN8 at same time.

I originally tried running games on my Mac under Parallels but got tired of Microsoft thinking it was a new machine that had to re-validate Windows every time either the Mac OS or Windows got an update. At one time I had the Mac OS, Windows XP and Windows 7 all capable of running games. BTW, I have been a Mac user since 1986 and will always use a Mac, however, lets be realistic. Most games will not be ported to run on the Mac so you have to be willing to use Windows if you want some games, such as The Elder Scrolls series and submarine games like Silent Hunter 5. If you can run them simultaneously on the mac under one of the windows emulators, great. I have 4 drives: Mac HD, Mac time machine backup, Bootcamp Windows 7, and windows backup. I prefer to reboot.:lampoff:
I have lots of drives and space - I should try it.
