Steam for windows on mac

So, i downloaded windows steam on mac by whiskey app, but i can't open and it shows that Steam encountered an unexpected error during startup (0x3008) and i don't know what to do.

this, mac+whiskey+steam makes the other part of the library accessible to me without booting up a 1000w powerhorse. it has a critical impact on my ecosystem, please show mercy and try to make it work again :'(

I have the same issue every time is try to open it through whisky it says transport error. I've tried restarting everything and even uninstalled everything 3 or 4 times now. if anyone knows how to fix this please help.

Steam updated, and so far no update has been issued by whisky to solve the problem.

Sad News :(. According to Whisky, they are no longer going to update the program. The link to the announcement is here: https://github.com/Whisky-App/Whisky/issues/1336. It is suggested from the community to switch to crossover. Quite disappointing as crossover is a cost service.
