CSGO for Mac (FPS drops after i update to Yosemite)

Ive been playing on my mac for csgo for quite some time but recently after i updated to the Yosemite OS, im experiencing fps drops which really screwing me over for my gaming experience. i know i shouldnt be playing games on a mac. please help :( cant play my csgo like how i used to when i had my OS X Mavericks.

I know, csgo needs a yosemite update to stop the crashing and black screening people are experiencing.

I had the same issues. Than I just tried to change the settings and suddenly I got no more framedrops anymore. Even on my external screen.

These settings worked pretty nice for me. I have an 15inch mid 2012 macbook pro.
