Report a translation problem
Open the System Preferences application and go to >> Security & Privacy >> Privacy >> Accessibility, then tick the Steam application. If it already is ticked it requires the applications and computer to be restarted from previous updates, such as the OSX Yosemite. I had the same problem for ages and was wondering why it didn't work.
If you do all of this, then you'll be able to use the Shift+Tab item within Steam Games, unless you've customly changed it within Steam.
P.S: Tell me if you have any luck and next time take a look at some of the older discussions, there's been so many discussions of this, that 5 minutes of research would have found the answer.
Wow. I can't remembering creating this post. How strange. Although it was the 9th of April...
