Black Ops II for mac?

does anyone know when black ops II is coming out for mac or how to get it for mac?

Chances are (this statement is made without any research) is that it probably won't be coming to Mac at all. I mean, how many times do you see a triple A game go to a different platform unless theres a re-mastered edition etcetera, etcetera. Do tell if I'm wrong though and where your information is from.

Your best bet is to ask whoever makes the CoD ports. I believe Aspyr did the first Black Ops, so your highest chance of an actual response would be to email their support.
I can't imagine many people are still playing it though, your money would be wasted on such a port.

If you want to play Window games on your Mac, try Bootcamp or Wine.

I think the main reason for few Mac conversions is we can already run the PC versions via bootcamp. I have not had success getting bootcamp working for 2 years. I found something called WinClone that allowed me to do it manually easily and it's the greatest thing in the world. The PC (I run win7) verisons run faster than my Mac versions (due to direct X). I prefer my Mac to all of the 20 past PC's I've built up since 1980. And now that it boots win7 - and plays every game I try really well - I'ts the berries. There are fewer Mac people - then if 50-70% of us Mac people use bootcamp - then that REALLY limits the OSX game market so it's not attractive to port them. Since my win7 boot runs faster games than same games on OSX (MSFT won't license directX to OSX/Apple) as it would be a PC killer. Right now they have the game market due to these graphics tools. Now that I have bootcamp setup I'm re-downloading the 95 games I purchased for OSX = ( (and I have slow internet connection). So glad Steam allows this. The only one I won't be able to redownload is COD black Ops. As for Black Ops II - I didn't know there was one yet. I'll go download it! Pass on Wine - it's SLOW and if you don't have a fast machine the games will suck. Install bootcamp - if you have problems use winClone and clone windows to a Fat formatted partition. Clone out win7 insteall steam and start playing windows games. I run almost every game I have at max res and all options on ultra/high.

I do remember that mw2 and mw3 were releashed years after their windows version. It's very common for the Call of Duty games to get a mac port, but usually years after the windows one came out. At the moment theres no sign of CoD BO2 for the mac though.

THE SOLUTION:
Buy windows and use bootcamp. I mean, seriously if you think about it BO2 is $50 and windows 10 is $120. So I would advise you to not wait until the game is 6 years old and no one plays it and instead make the best investment ever and do a bootcamp. At least, that's how I'm spending my birthday money.

black ops 2 will not come out on mac because macbooks don't have the hardware for black ops 2 try downloading it from other sites won't work either it's the computer hardware and macbooks are not made for games like this i mean look how hard it was for black ops 1 to come out on mac tip get a ps3 or xbox 360 or predator gaming laptop not a mac
