Mate, I've seen quite a lot of your Apple related Steam posts. And I've got to say that you're a massive tech guru. Please teach me your ways, senpai.
Some games will leave behind files that will break the game or just take up space even if you Delete Local Cache. AppCleaner will find all the files related to the app, which means files in the Library>Cache and Application Support.
I just manually search in all the common spots, but I suppose that's not the advice to give to someone that's new at it.
I have the same problem. I just put all the icons into a folder and left it alone.
