How To Delete and Clean Install Game?
Hello, I have a MacBookPro and I would like to do a clean install for Alpha11 on 7 Days but I don't know how to do this. I have found info on how to delete games with a PC but nothing on Mac. I have deleted the desktop icon for 7 days but when I go to Steam everything is still there. i don't want to just delete it from Steam yet until I hear how to do it properly. I'm not a tech guy and I'm still new to Mac. And I don't want to lose this game as it is soooo addictive and great. And I'm new to Steam also so i want to do this right cause I won't be able to buy this game for quite some time if I had too. Thanks in advance everyone.

Download the app called Appcleaner. http://www.freemacsoft.net/appcleaner/

This will delete all files related to the game.

The link looks pretty shady, but its legit.

Mate, I've seen quite a lot of your Apple related Steam posts. And I've got to say that you're a massive tech guru. Please teach me your ways, senpai.

No need to download anything, right click the game on Steam > delete local content. Don't know why you'd want a clean install rather than just updating the game and deleting your save, though.

Some games will leave behind files that will break the game or just take up space even if you Delete Local Cache. AppCleaner will find all the files related to the app, which means files in the Library>Cache and Application Support.

Never tried AppCleaner, but the other uninstallers I tried didn't do a very good job at it.
I just manually search in all the common spots, but I suppose that's not the advice to give to someone that's new at it.

I have the same problem. I just put all the icons into a folder and left it alone.
