Bootcamp is just a partitioning tool. In theory a Mac would run Windows at the same performance level as a normal PC if both were using the exact same hardware. Of course, there are no normal PCs using the exact same parts as a Mac.
If you're talking on a price vs. performance basis, a custom-built PC at the same price of an iMac will absolutely destroy it as far as system specs go.

It depends on the hardware, esp. the (separated) graphics.
While bootcamp-windows makes most games perform better on a mac, there is no difference to native windows on a pc.

a problem might be to find a mac with the graphics you need. for a laptop, a 15" retina model, beginning with integrated but pretty discrete iris pro-chipset might be a deal, for 2000 bucks. plus your version of windows optional.

Not to forget apples excellent driver-support for bootcamp and only a mac can run both windows and mac os.

Nah, you can install OS X on a PC with a bit of work. And driver support is fairly good these days for modern hardware.
Typing this from OS X on a PC with a 4690K and a GTX 980 right now - while my iMac is sitting next to it as a second display.
