Call of Duty Black Ops Key Binding

Hi I'am trying to set Movement Keys in COD Black Ops using the number Keypad on my extended keyboard and noting seems to work. I'am going nuts in Tomb raider you just press the a number on the Num Pad and it binds it to the Game Easy. Black Ops not so much!!
