MacBookPro x Asus 144hz Monitor Setup

I recently purchased a 144hz Asus Monitor .

Im using : Windows Bootcamp
Dual DVI
Rocketfish DVI Display Port

Problem: 60hz setting
Wanting : 120hz or 144hz setting

P.S. I tried setting the hertz on advanced settings but doesn't give me an option to change to 120hz.

Help me find a solution please.

Is it a Macbook Pro Retina? Have you solved this? I am curious for my own situation. I believe if it's an older model MBP that hardware can't output at above 60hz.

Actually I had an external monitor and I was able to get 75hz via windows bootcamp. Try lowering your resolution really low (like 640x480) and see if 120hz appears.

Maybe try looking around Nvidia Control Panel?

I got it to work. bootcamping windows 7 and messsing around the nvidia control panel. I wonder if windows really make a difference .
