Maybe Terraria 2 will be compatible with Mac OS. In the meantime, I'll just keep playing Starbound.

Ok guys If anyone has played terraria through hard mode they have probably expeirenced this bug, after slaying all the hardmode bosses no plantera message apears and no bulbs spawn. I have a solution for this problem. It is very simple, all you have to do is save and exit from the world when it happens and wait 1-2 days. For a pretty much garanteed fix try for 3. I figured this out just by not playing for a while because without plantera the game is pointless beyond that point, no legndary items terraria becomes BORING. Then I said awww screw it and logged onto the world and headed for the jungle. What I saw amazed me there were like 5 plantera's bulbs. If this did help you I'm happy to have helped. Enjoy terraria! (For red if he reads this: PLZ make that space update come sooner I and many others would greatly apreciate. Great job on the game I love it!)

i own it for windows and just boot my Mac into Windows to play it. If you really want Windows only games so bad, just get Windows and install it on your Mac via Bootcamp. you won't regret it. Windows 8.1 Pro is on $69 for College students. And then you can use Windows games and apps without having to buy an extra PC. You get the best of both worlds. Terraria runs great on Mac mini.

exactly, macs tend not to have as much memory or cpu power and still run smothly. That would not help if you are trying to run windows.

both my macs have 16GB RAM is and one is a Mac mini 2.5Ghz i5 dual core w/ hyperthreading and a Radeon HD 6630M 256MB and the other is a MacBook Pro 2.3Ghz i7 quad core w/ hyperthreading and a nvidia geforce 650M 512MB, so my Macs have plenty of power running Windows or anything you throw at it

mine is over 5 years old, I try to get the best out of it one of these days I will be able to afford a newer computer. I just wish I did not have to create a VM to play a couple games.

I've got an awesome OSX wrap of it!! The only issue is a bit of background glitch once deep underground, it's totally playable though.

I'd still love to see an actual mac version made, it's such a good game that I would actually really like to pay for it!!
