Steam in fullscreen on Mac OS X

Hello,

I'm wondering if it is possible, and how, to put steam in fullscreen on Mac OS X, just as it is possible to do so with many other softwares running on Mac OS X.

The only way I can figure out for now is to use "Big picture" but what I want is just the "classical" UI but in fullscreen.

No, currently big picture is the only way, and Valve would probably not develop the fullscreen you are talking about (i believe its called cocoa fullscreen).

Native Mavericks fullscreen would be great. Maybe with Yosemite this will natually come?

I'm on the Yosemite beta and Steam doesn't do full screen.

I haven't managed to figure out how to take screenshots using the Steam overlay on Mac.
