Hello, guys.

So the OS X El Capitan Public Beta has been released! My idea in this post is that (

valiant

) guys who install the OS can share their thoughts.

If you installed it, what games are you playing and how are running them?
Is the Steam app running fine?

Still doesn't work on either Dev Beta 4 or Public Beta 2

From Valve employee: "The last I heard from the Steam team they are waiting for Apple to address the issue since it is new Apple software that has broken Steam"[github.com].

Looks like Valve can't do anything. :S

It worked for me on Public Beta 2, today I updated to 3rd one and it doesn't work again.

Apple released Public Beta 4. I installed it. Overlay doesn't work yet. I feel CS GO performance worse than Yosemite. Probably Dota 2 as well.

Playing CSGO, if you Cmd+Tab for checking other apps, the cursor will disappear. It bothers me, because I do this every time I'm dead (too many times... XD). I don't know why this is happening.

I just updated to 4th beta and I have the same problem, also with cursor.

steam on mac is more comfortable to use than using in windows

There is an issue with the cursor identifier feature in El Capitain (shake to enlarge the cursor)..
I haven't really tested it wth other games but in TF2, what seems to happen is when Steam is allowed accessibility in privacy, the cursor glitches and enlarges in game when looking around.

If Steam is not allowed accessibility the problem is not existent, just make playing on trade servers a lot harder since I need the Overlay for trading...

I also think that steam should support fullscreen mode... I love to use apps in full screen and let them have independent space from the desktop, i just don't want to use Big Picture mode to achieve that
