Controller Gamesir M2

I have a Gamesir M2 controller and I was wondering if I can use it with Steam? When I go in steam settings - controller - controller settings it shows the Gamesir M2. But when I start a game the controller doesn't work. So is it even compatible?

if you look either on the game's shop page or on the page in your library there are icons for controller compatibility. Is the game you tried compatible with controllers in general?

i have same issue and on syberia it says it has full controller support . is there a way to turn it on or something? seemed to work for moving but now will not acknowledge controller at all and i dont have a mouse

No, theorethically you wouldn't need to turn anything on. Have you tried using your controller in any other (controller-supporting) game? And the controller works for walking and for nothing else? have you checked the bindings for other actions in the settings?
