Xbox controller not working on El Capitan

Have been using my wired Xbox controller on my Mac with the tattiebogle app for a while now.
Since updating to El Cap' its stopped connecting.
Whenever I plug it in the led ring flashes a couple of times and then blinks off.

Anyone else experienced problems and or have a solution?

(The controller is fine as is works on my wifes windows laptop)

I haven't yet tried this yet, but I'm seriously hoping this doesn't happen to me. Tattieboggle doesn't get regular updates, so who knows when something new will get pushed out...

Have you tried the PS3 controller? It worked for me

Reinstall the app. I use tattleboggle on my mac and then I updated. It stopped working so I deleted it and downloaded it again. Hope this works!

Try the new fork of the drivers: https://github.com/d235j/360Controller.git The original Tattieboggle ones apparently are no longer updated.
