When I updated my MacBook to version 14.5, I found my Steam unable to open and show the error like "Steam" Unexpectedly Quit, I've tried rebooting my Mac and also reinstallation of the Steam app, but neither one worked. Maybe try fully uninstalling Steam by also removing any Valve/Steam related files in ~/Library/Application Support , ~/Library/Caches , ~/Library/Containers , ~/Library/Preferences and any others. Then reboot and reinstall Steam.

If Steam still won't open, try deleting the Stardew Valley folder from your Steam library.

Ah, no worries. Can you start other apps normally? Try at least one built in app like Mail or Safari and one that's you've bought or downloaded. A reboot might help, try that before anything else.

All other apps can be opened normally, and steam can still not be opened after I reboot the MacBook.

If fully uninstalling Steam as described above doesn't work, maybe this will work. In Terminal enter

sudo update dyld_shared cache

Then enter your password and wait for it to complete.

* never enter Terminal commands told to you online without finding out what they're supposed to do first.

In this case the error might be a problem with dyld_shared_cache, which I'm not sure exactly what it is but I think it's a file used by macOS containing reusable code used by the OS and applications.

Also might help to update your Macbook to 14.6.1 if available to you.
