War thunder launching with a black screen on MacBook Pro 2014 since latest update

Ever since the recent war thunder large update I have been unable to access the game. I get the launcher but when it opens the game I get the music but just a blank black screen. I have clear the cache, verified the files, turned off GPU acceleration and reinstalled war thunder. Any other suggestions please? My MacBook has all its latest operating system updates.
