Age-Restricted Verification Screen Crashes Steam on Mac

Going to an age-restricted game and it asks my birthdate, I press the button to change the year and it crashes the app for me. It doesn't even close when i do force-quit, so I have to restart my computer.

This exact problem is happening to me as well. I'm on macOS 15.1
Can this be fixed please??

Mine just freezes the client. I reported this to Steam Support, I suggest you all do the same.

Yes it crashes my M4 Max Macbook too. I am forced to restart the computer.

This exactly happens, every single time. It is a 100% breaking bug. New M4 mac mini. It's black friday '24 and this is NOT fixed.

It is fixed in the beta as mikela mentioned. I just installed the beta and it worked fine on my macbook. Go to preferences > interface section and you can enable the beta version there.
