Icons with Caution Signs

Hello!
I have been looking everywhere for help on this specific issue, but I haven't been able to find a straight up answer.

I downloaded a bunch of games the other day and about two of them downloaded on my desktop with the "pen and paper" icon (Risk of Rain and HuniePop), and I was able to fix it with going into the source file and replacing the icon.

However, about 5 of them downloaded with the "caution" sign (a circle with the line through it), and I cannot access the games through the desktop icon because a dialog box appears that says it cannot be run due to the file being broken or incomplete. I've run cache checks on these games and even tried re-downloading them and fixing their icon's source files but nothing works. When I try the latter, the icon appears, but the circle with the line through it is still there and I still can't use the desktop shortcut. These games are Cave Story+, Gratuitous Space Battles, Hotline Miami, Remembering How We Met, and Please Don't Touch Anything. I included the games because I don;t know if its common or if I am doing something wrong, but does anyone know how I can fix this?

I have exactly the same problem. Many of my new game installed shows this caution sign at the place of the real icon of the app. And my iMac is completely new and with an excellent internet connexion. How to fix this problem, because is obviously a Steam problem on Mac. If you have some idea, i'll take it. Thanks in advance.
