Macos 15.0 currently incompatible

I've upgraded to MacOS 15 beta, and since I receive the error "Game Configuration Unavailable" (specifically in Civilization VI). I don't know it others have the same experience (or maybe a solution) but be careful when upgrading..

One of the reasons you're moving to PC from Mac is due to unsupported beta software breaking software you rely on...

maybe him but i see a consistant mac incompatabity with steam and not PC to steam

Given gaming isn't a primary focus of Unix and macOS it may be worth moving to a platform that better suits it.

Metal coded games are staggeringly good if supported. It's just such a shame the market share is so insignificant that it's not more widespread.

Since beta 5 i cant shift tab during games or access save games on cloud in games that allow me to choose between saving in device or cloud ex. Football Manager 2024

Update to Beta 6. Fixes it.

It still does not work on newest 15.1 beta. interesting it was fixed on 15 but not 15.1. I reported to apple and steam so hopefully it gets fixed as well, that's why you don't install beta's on the main partition haha.

Same issue here, tried using the steam beta as well.

Same issue here, tried using the steam beta as well.

They will merge 15.0 and 15.1 code later, its not so easy to sync two braches every day.

ive spent 2+ hours looking for answers I have the exact same problem also with civ 6, wish I seen this thread earlier lol. hopefully they fix it for the updated beta
