Starting at $1000 you get low amounts of RAM (which is shared with the GPU making those amounts worse), low storage that can't be upgraded, and GPUs that can't play ANY modern games at the devices native resolution.
Its actually shocking when I see people surprised that the Mac gaming scene kinda sucks.
Maybe people should pressure Apple into working to kill DX by supporting Vulkan and making it easier for games to be platform agnostic rather than forcing devs to make concessions for each platform. Especially since Mac gaming is the lowest pool of gamers (no, its not BSD, they don't even have enough to be on the chart).
