Baldur's Gate 3

Hi. I'm trying to decide if my system will run Baldur's Gate 3. I have a 2020 i-Mac with a 3.8 ghz 8-Core Intel i-7 with an AMD Radeon Pro 5500 XT 8 GB graphics card. Everything says I need an M1 Chip, but I found some stuff on line stating it will run. Any others have a similar system playing this game?

Yes, it runs both on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs. Steamdb confirms it has an x86 Mac port too. With that GPU I don't think you can run it at 1440p Max. According to Notebookcheck you have to use Medium or 1080p. You can test for 2 hours and ask for refund if it doesn't run well. I've heard that the real challenge for the GPU comes in act 2-3 though.
