How to play Windows Games on MAC?

A relative one bought his macbook and he wanted to play CS2. Sadly CS2 and Team Fortress 2 are not available for MAC on Steam Store page and he's upset and it and he can't afford to build a PC. Does anyone here knows how to make Windows games playable on MAC?

"If your model has an intel processor (which you can see if you click at the apple logo > about this mac > processor) that's quite simple : use bootcamp, it is installed by default and let you boot on either windows or macOS, you loose no performance and can play all games compatible with your machine.

if you're on apple silicon (which is most likely) you have basically two types of solutions : virtual machine or translation layers (note that if you are trying to run a game that contains an anticheat, none of these solutions will work).

For your games specifically, I know CS2 works well on crossover and seems to works using other methods, for TF2 I am not sure, most reviews of the game on https://www.applegamingwiki.com/wiki/ (website that gives an idea on how the game run using each software according to the community) are quite old

Read on reddit /macgaming more about it. CS2 ia fully playable if you will install Steam for windows with Whisky, and install it inside it.
