Steam on Mac OS

My Steam client on my Macbook Pro has stopped displaying. It starts but all I can get to display is my friends list. I've tried uninstalling Steam. I've updated my OS. It did work once after that but reverted to the original issue. Any ideas what is wrong?

Not just you. Mine started doing that after the latest update. I can display the friends list. I can launch recently played games from right clicking on the icon in the dock. Big picture mode opens & seems to work. But everything else doesn't, unless I have a game running, and then it chooses to open everything in the Steam Overlay mode.

Given that a lot of us are having the same problem in multiple threads it sounds like Valve ♥♥♥♥♥♥ something up on their end. Pester them in support until they get the memo and patch it?

I have the same issue on Monterey 12.7 which is not exactly a rare OS. I can log in but cannot access my library. I have checked on the Apple fora and verified others are having the same or similar problems with Steam. If that's the case, it is up to Steam to do the fixing. It's their business after all. So make sure you contact them.

This is terrible, but how do we bug them? I know I did it once, and I cannot remember how. Edit: I sent in a request to Support. I hope I did it the right way.
