Can't Install Civilization V
I've just added Steam to a new macbook pro running Monterey, but I can't install Civ V. The install button has been replaced by a green button saying "Stream". When I click it, it brings up a popup saying "Stream Launch failed - requires additional driver installation, please follow stream prompts on the remote computer".
What garbage is this? What remote computer? Why won't it let me Install the game. What is "Stream" anyway? I've never seen this before in my many years on this platform.
And of course there is nobody to actually help with anything.
IT companies are just universally evil. How can you take money from people for something and then refuse to provide support for your own product?
What am I supposed to do here to make this thing work?

Just guessing but have you tried disabling remote play in Steam preferences? I've had no trouble installing or running on an M3 Mac.

stream means your computer streams to your computer on steam
for example
if you own and installed civilization v on a gaming computer, you can stream the game from that computer to your mac through internet.

Have you tried downloading nvidia geforce now; they have a feature called 'cloud gaming' where you could connect to a sever where you can play remotely. Warning: there are free and paid versions.
