moving save files / profile from Crossover to regular MacOS?
I downloaded Balatro on Thursday, played a ton of it via Crossover, then they released the Mac version on Friday lol. I tried opening it from the regular Mac client, and it was a fresh game. Now the Mac client says the cloud save is out of sync, and when I click "Retry Sync" it either A) does nothing, or B) says "Checking..." and doesn't change.

The Crossover version works fine, with my old saves/profile, and the cloud is synced.

I downloaded the save files from the Cloud (all of it is WinAppData), and I backed up the program files from Crossover (mostly .dll files). I found the regular Mac game in my SteamApps folder, but can't find any save/profile files.

How do I get this all sorted, so I can play my profile on the regular Mac steam client?

Thanks!

saves between windows and macos are not always compatible or allowed for steamsynch

I would check for folder under Documents\My Games\ if saves are stored for this game there
if not you can try to search in Users/youruser/Library/Application Support/
last place would be to go to installed game - right click on it and then select show package contents - then look for some folder with saves
This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
