Problems installing game, downloaded at unknown date

I keep getting an error that tells me the game is unable to be installed and to trash it due to it being installed with an unknown date. I’ve searched a bit and everything is 2-3 years old and none of the solutions have worked.

Any suggestions?? I have had Steam installed on this laptop for a while and have over 200 hours played on this single game before I uninstalled it due to needed the hard drive space.

Sorry, Farming Sim 2019…. I assumed it would just be the same for all, not a particular game..

I had the same issue for Civ VI. What worked for me is going to the store and finding the most recent DLC expansion pack I got (Rise and Fall) and then hitting the play button IN THE STEAM STORE. I think for whatever reason my computer was trying to play the old non-Rise and Fall Civ VI game, but was running into errors when it was seeing data from Rise and fall.
