Neverwinter Nights requires an Intel based Mac computer.
It runs on Apple ARM (M1/M2) computers by using Rosetta:

Thank you so much for this! Just to further clarify, since I do have an Intel based Mac, then can I play not only this version, but also the most recent, entire Adventure Bundle, and even the Soundtrack, of course without any special software?
To play the audio files you will of course need a program for playback, but usually your OS comes with one.
