Client won't link to update server on Ventura

After updating OSX from 12.3 to Ventura 13.2.1, the client keeps on showing "updating Stream..." for a long time and then gives a message that "Stream needs a network link."
Anyone meet the situation too?

Similar problem here as well - even though macOS Ventura 16.6. has access to internet (safari opens various internet sites, Music app is actively streaming new music from Apple music servers), Steam client app shows on download page, "No internet connection", "Manifest unavailable" etc.

It seems internet connection is not the issue - can you please check is it this particular Steam client for macOS Ventura 16.6. issue? I have no antivirus for Mac installed, nor is Firewall problem since I have it enabled - "Steam can accept incoming and outgoing connection" something like that is already set up in Mac built-in firewall. I do not use any additional one.

I tried changing download regions in Settings of the Steam client but that did not help. Still unable to download updates for various games, not just one title - can you Steam please check - thank you.
