Mac - how do I remove a game?
This may sound ridiculously simple given that most apps on a Mac can be simply moved to trash from the Applications folder. However my downloaded Steam games do not appear in that folder. Rather, the are in a separate folder and produce a shortcut/icon within launchpad. I have dragged the aforementioned folder to the trash from its location on my hard drive, however the icon remains in Launchpad. How the hell do you remove that? It won't drag to the trash, it has no 'x' to delete once it has been jiggled.
Please help.
Also please refrain from the usual 'don't buy a Mac' and related comments. I have come here looking for a solution, not as Troll bait.

Please disregard this request. I have since found a YouTube video that stepped me through the process. I am not savvy enough to guide others through it, however in 'Finder' you need to add 'Path' option to the toolbar. Find your 'User' folder within that. Find applications within your User folder and your Steam game icons can be found there (not in the general 'Applications' folder that is always present in Finder). Simply drag the icon to the trash from there.

I did try that, however it did not affect what was on my computer.
