Reasons why you need to use your brain before talking :
- Most people using a mac usually need it for another thing than gaming
- You can use a Virtual Machine/emulators to play windows games
- Mac is not slow, if it was before which is probably true, it is not anymore, comparing with games which aren't optimized correctly is not fair either.
- Who are you to tell people what they should do ?(Almost) nobody use their mac only for gaming, everyone searching on Internet will see a better quality/price, and will be aware of what it is to play on mac, so your arguments seen every days on forums such as this one are useless
let me know what I forgot
You forgot to mention that i probably have more mac experience than your age zoomer. A mac is trash. The only reason I could imagine someone would use it for is music A mac is expensive and useless just as your invalid opinion.
Please use your cortex when you purchase an item from the garbage collector since you pay for the quality of the material and not the specs that the product of that price shall have.
You forgot to mention that you don't know who I am, and don't know how experienced I am in term of mac, I don't know about you and I don't care because that's not the subject.
That's funny because you said that my opinion is invalid... where did I have shown my opinion ?
I explained facts, despite saying macs are not slow which can be interpreted differently, saying that be able to use a VM, that usually you have a mac for another purpose than gaming, and that searching on Internet clearly show Windows is better for gaming is from my "invalid opinion" is the most stupid thing I've ever heard
I've never bought a mac, good try to tell me to use my cortex but again you're wrong.
I got a mac as a gift and for a ton of reasons (power consumption, size, the OS etc) I prefer stay on mac (and I do not do music).

No you explained your own opinion mr clueless.
Listen. In general, a windows pc is way more capable of doing stuff than a mac. Not only in gaming terms but everything has been thought about in a windows machine (not saying that all about it is perfect).
Sorry to break it to you but Apple lost the battle 5 billion years ago. They rule the phone market now. Things change. And they do for a reason. Why the hell would someone buy a mac, to just then use a VM or bootcamp the machine?
And of course you have been gifted a mac by your family because they don't know better. You would also never feel the pain to spend your own 1.5k on a machine that has gone down in value so its useless to try and sell it just to find out its a pointless purchase
Tell me where I explain my opinion, again you say this without replying to what I really say
I've never said that Mac were more capable than windows, I've said they are not slow which is true, you could check the M2 mac mini at 600$, compared to intel macs, the performances are good for a "low" price.
"everything has been thought about in a windows machine (not saying that all about it is perfect)."... I will not even comment, are your more Windows addict than I am apple addict to say such a wrong thing lol ?
You have the possibility to use VM, to play on macOS through Windows emulation without buying a new product like you suggested, do you know what an external drive is btw ?
And I didn't told you to buy a Mac, YOU made a useless post (you still didn't replied to my arguments) which I replied to, isn't it a community section after all ?
My family has been using macs for years, that's true, and I totally understand that, and they didn't pay 1.5K on a machine which do everything I need (including games and development).
To everyone who reads this, please do your research when buying your computer. In the end it's your decision
TIP: The dude above me doesn't know what he is saying, but I can assure you that a Windows PC (not a laptop) just a PC is your best option.
Bruh you obviously have never used one.
"doesnt support A LOT of games"
True, but it's not really a gaming platform. Used to support more games but since the 32 bit removal, only a few games are supported now.
"the majority of people use windows, needing help with sum but u have a mac leads to more issues"
Bro what
Please stay in school as it seems as you need it. Thanks you are dismissed
PS: If you think I'm a Mac fanboy then you might want to take a look at my profile, cause I'm not lol.
2. Font rendering on Windows blows
3. No ads for Xbox Live or Candy Crush in the start menu
4. Audio drivers on Windows are universally terrible
5. Lmao slow, I don’t need a nuclear reactor to power my machine
6. Unix based OS
7. I don’t have to run every program as Admin
8. Edge isn’t the standard pdf viewer
10. The UI isn’t eye-gougingly ugly
11. Windows 11 changed this but managed to make everything more obtuse to use (and made some weird MacOS-hybrid abomination)
12. Internet Explorer isn’t an integral part of the OS. File Explorer is actually Internet Explorer
13. My god the File Explorer sucks, and now there’s three locations for apps instead of just two, which was already terrible.
14. APFS is outright superior to NTFS, much less corrupable and hacked together
15. The OS doesn’t beg me to use Edge like a drunk ex.
16. The OS doesn’t reset my default web browser to Edge after updating.
17. The OS remembers where my ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ windows are on reopening.
18. Multiple desktop support is awful on Windows
19. Trackpad gestures are flat out superior on Mac and scrolling doesn’t feel awful
20. Windows Store is so bad that Microsoft doesn’t recommend using it
21. I don’t have to install a separate program to customize keyboard shortcuts
22. File search is much faster on Mac, and spotlight is bae
23. Some network file mounting functions are still locked behind IE for some godawful reasons
Feel free to keep blowing Satya Nadella because “muh games” tho
2. Never got issues with it and I use both Windows and Mac
3. Very true
4. Depends on device but mostly true yes
5. Also depends on device
6. Windows is DOS based
7. Somewhat true
8. Uhm Edge is by default the PDF viewer for so far as I know
9. Wait where is 9???
10. We still talking about Windows right?
11. Okay we're still talking about Windows
12. Internet Explorer will be removed from default Windows 11 installs soon, support has already ended.
13. The Windows file explorer? Yeah it definitely sucks, though it does a few things better than Finder.
14. True, but APFS is pretty new (2017) compared to NTFS, which was introduced somewhere in the 90's/00's.
15. True
16. Hahahah true
17. Sooo true
18. Yep, though it has improved over the years.
19. Depends on device and drivers.
20. It's okay. It's not that much better or worse than the MacOS App Store, though the Windows App store has more useful apps.
21. True
22. YESSS
23. Yeah thats still part of the legacy Windows unfortunately.
I use both every day, and Windows makes me wanna pull my teeth out.
