How to vote (f1 & f2) on Mac
for now I am using a MacBook Pro

so everytime a vote starts when I press f1 or f2 it just hightens or lowers the brightness
I am pretty new to Mac so please,
anything is appreciated Thanks!

If you hit fn + F1 or F2 then it should work as a vote in any of the Valve Games.

No it dosent work like that. You have to hold fn (which is in the bottom left corner) and the while holding fn press f1. Then ur vote will be counted.

It's worth mentioning that if it really annoys you, you can make it so you need to press Fn to access the brightness/sound/etc and the funciton keys work as regular F1, F2, etc.:

Just go to System Preferences -> Keyboard -> check the "Use F1,F2, etc. as regular function keys" box.

You can leave the window open so when you finish your game, you can switch it back to default funcitonality. Cheers!
