Weird CS:GO Lag Issue on Mac

I was playing CS:GO on my mac today, and I noticed it was working a little slow. I thought it was a good idea to reduce the settings on the game, so I changed the video setting from high to medium. It would make sense that it would run the game faster, right? But no, it started running about 2 or 3 times worse, it was now running at 20 fps.

I changed the settings back, and it was till 20fps. I restarted CS:GO, and the computer, and it was still running at 20fps. I uninstalled and reinstalled CS:GO, and used Quartz Debug, and changed my resolution to 1280 x 800, with really low quality gameplay, and I was still on 20fps.

Do you guys have a solution to this?

Check ram use, install Memoryclean and ONYX (on appstore), run them, see if it solves your issue. It could also be caused by a decrease in your download speed, since your comp would ask and get info from servers all time long, at last check backoffice programs that could use your bandwidth and ram/chip and quit. Rarely, an overheating could lower your graphic card ability to manage any settings (low or high), eventually lead to a crash sometimes with total reboot.

I've used ONYX and memoryclean, and both of em don't solve the issue. Will I fix the issue if I do a factory reset?
