Controller for Mac?

Hey everybody! I tried searching first for my answers but didn't really find anything so excuse me if I'm re-treading old territory here.

Does anyone who uses a Mac for Steam games use a controller? Any recommendations for one? I'm not even sure of which games I might play with a controller at this moment in time, but I much prefer playing with a controller if possible.

The DualShock 4 controller works out of box with no extra drivers needed. You just need to manually pair it via Bluetooh. Most games I've played support it.

That's a windows controller. Also, it's in French.

I use a DualShock 4 and the MacBook sees it immediately both wirelessly or via the charge cable. However, as neat as that is, games that have been launched before Sony made the PS controllers compatible with the mac or even newer games that just didn't have this on their radar will most likely never be adapted to work with it. The good news is that even for those games you can always use a mapper (I use one called Joystick Mapper) that assigns keyboard and mouse inputs to the controller. It's an extra step but it works nicely.

I know dualshock works but dont buy the steam one , to be honest thier not good in general!
