steamclean keeps crashing
I keep getting popups that say "Steamclean has crashed unexpectedly" this is quite annoying, since it happens in the middle of games and while doing other things. I have tried to reinstall steam, but this only temporarily fixes the issue, and it reoccurs after installing a game

Are you on Apple Silicon or an Intel Mac?
Because it crashes for me on my Apple Silicon Mac as soon as Steam launches.

I have been having the same issue ever since my M1 Pro Mac updated to MacOS 12.6. My Crash Reports in the Console are filled with steamclean crashes. Maybe there's some incompatibility with that release.

Valve appears to have shipped an x86_64 ONLY version of steamclean. I'm not really sure what this does beyond a guess that it cleans cache and incomplete downloads based on the name. However, I doubt it would be problematic to remove it until they distribute the aarch64 version again.
