How to uninstall Remote Play's "Steam streaming speakers/microphone"?
I tried Remote Play once and Steam installed these drivers. How do I remove them on a Mac? I've disabled "Remote play" in settings with no effect.

For anyone who thinks, like I do, that going to watch a YouTube video to so something on a system is a bit silly, what you need to do is:

  1. Open a Terminal,
  2. cd /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/HAL/
  3. sudo rm -rf SteamStreaming*
  4. Reboot your Mac

And it should be gone...

Thanks very much for the solution - and saving me an unnecessary trip to YouTube! Worked perfectly although I had to restart my Mac for the devices to disappear completely.
P.S. only just noticed step 4 of your post so please ignore my comment about restarting!

Note: If you don't want to reboot your Mac you can restart only CoreAudio system:
sudo killall -9 coreaudiod
