How can I check if steam is 32-bit or 64-bit in my Mac with OS version 12.2.1 ??

I want to install 'The Witcher 2'. But it requires to have 64-bit Steam to be installed in the MacBook with OS Version later than 10.*.*
So, I tried to install Steam 64-bit. But how can I check it before I purchase the game ??

The bit version of Steam is irrelevant.
If it runs on your MAC OS 12.2.1 it must be 64Bit as Apple has stopped supporting 32Bit apps in 10.15 and any 32Bit app no longer runs on Mac OS.

Keep in mind the system requirements:
Minimum:
OS: OS X 10.8.5 - macOS 10.14 (Catalina not supported)
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory: 4 GB RAM
Graphics: GeForce GT 650M 512MB (on 1440x900, low), Radeon HD 5770 1GB (on 1440x900, low), Intel integrated graphics chipsets are not supported
Hard Drive: 25 GB HD space

Sounds like it is a 32Bit game and wasn't updated to 64Bit, making it impossible to run.

The Witcher 2 is 32-bit and won't run on Catalina, Big Sur or Monterey. The steam page cleary says that.
