Unable to download on new laptop
I have just bought a new Macbook, i am trying to transfer my old games onto it which were purchased on my old Acer laptop, however, i cannot download them, it is only giving me the option to stream if my old laptop is logged into stream, if it not logged in, i have no option to download or stream at all?

can anyone help?

Are you sure it's a 64Bit game? Mac OS X 10.15 aka Catalina no longer supports 32Bit apps. Which affects a lot of games, especially older ones.

Additionally, make sure that the game actually has a version for Mac OS X.

Can those games be played on a Mac?

You need to check the store page.

Is Steam installed properly on the new laptop? Are you logged into the correct account?

No one asked you that. How about you answer the questions actually asked:

Games are marked incompatible in the library itself.

More on issues with that itself...

Yes i was asked, the first comment on this thread asked "are you logged into the correct account"... your first response didnt even come up when it notified that i had a reply.

I'll look into if they're 32 bit, although they are new(ish) remasters so shouldn't be a problem

You should also check if those games offer a Mac OS X version at all. What good is a game that supports 64Bit, when it doesn't support or run under Mac OS X?

What are the games?

The library should already tell you which ones are compatible. If any issues arise, I believe another user has posted about them.
