Im annoyed by the fact that 90% of my steam libary cant run on mac, ffs the games from 2007-2021 refuse to even download

Thank Apple.
They've dropped support for all 32Bit apps, making most MAC games no longer work.
Not to mention all those other decisions to alienate any developer developing games for MAC OS not using the Apple appstore.

I'm on Big Sur and am finding that a lot of the 32bit games that would apparently no longer run are indeed working again.

I recommend partitioning your mac so that you have a separate OS running Mojave. That's worked for me in the past. No need to fiddle around with Wine or anything like that (which, no matter what, I've never been able to get working).

Well, until Apple decides to remove Rosetta2, like they did with Rosetta1.
